"Wrestling"

     Wrestling has been a big part of Greek Culture for many years now. The Kato Pale style of Greek Wrestling is when two players ground wrestle until one player submits defeat. In the Kato Pale style, submitting defeat is by raising your arm with your index finger up. Orthia Pale style is also another famous type of wrestling for the Greek and this is upright wrestling. Upright Wrestling is when you are both standing and the opponent to throw the other player to the ground three separate times wins the match.

"New Rules Set In Play For Olympic Wrestling" 

     Olympic Wrestling has been a sports for many years but now Greek Officials are deciding to add some new rules to the game. Due to recent accident, Greek Officials stated there will be no more punching, tripping, or biting allowed. Also, you can no longer gouge out your opponents eyes or claw their face using your fingernails. These rules will be in play the next time you go see the Olympic Wrestling games.

"Chariot Races"

Chariot Races is one of the most dangerous sporting events here in Greece for both man and horse. Chariot Races allow up to 10 chariots in one match and up to 4 horses pulling a chariot. In some recent competitions, warriors leaped from a moving chariot, run beside it, then hop back in the moving chariot. The winner of the Chariot Race will be awarded 140 ceramic pots full of olive oil. The next upcoming Chariot Race will be held at the Great Panathenaea.
